Our designs and models are coming along brilliantly. The children are working hard. Special thanks and farewell to our wonderful intern Kate MacDonald for her support and awesome teaching this term. Imagination Station

Thanks so much to our parents who helped transport us to town today! Thanks Simon, Christine, Rae, Greer, Kamala, Kimberley and Paul. We really appreciate your time and help. 

Today we took a trip to town and had a great creative play session at Imagination Station. The children got to work with their design buddy and create visions of roof gardens and other green spaces to fit with our future school.

We are having a great term so far and the children are lucky to have 2 teachers to support their learning. Kate McDonald comes to us with particular expertise in Physical Education. Today we had a lesson learning how to increase our fitness levels and work together in a group.

Reimagining spaces

Today we walked to the newest building in Sumner, the fabulous Surf Lifesaving Club. We talked about function, form and fit, and discussed how these things are important when we think about a good space in which to learn. We are continuing to think about how we learn in particular spaces.
