Welcome back to the final term for the year! We hope you have all
had a relaxing holiday.
Once again we have much exciting learning organised for the term. A special welcome back to Zara who was away in Wanaka during Term 3.
Our English programme will focus on information research skills,
non-fiction texts, sentence structure and punctuation. The maths classes will
be looking at fractions and revising the strategies we have learned so far this
year.
This week El Grego is visiting the school to present a show and on
Thursday we are involved in the national shakeup. This will be an opportunity
to practise our earthquake drills.
The Life Education caravan is coming to the school in weeks three
and four to give us health lessons.
In week five we are going to Rapaki Marae where we will be
welcomed and we will learn about protocol. A note will be coming home this week
about the marae visit as we will need parent help for transport.
Later in the term the Year 3 and 4 team is having their athletics
day and near the end of the term we will be having our annual end of year outing.
